Motorola H700Want to cut the cord without looking like a cyborg? We put this ultra-mini headset to the test.![]() Price:

Steve Horton DESIGN Once paired with a Bluetooth phone, the Motorola H700 turns on when you flip open the boom and turns off when you flip it closed, almost like a tiny mobile phone. This saves a ton of battery life and there's no need to remember how long to hold down a button to turn the thing off. Especially striking is the fact that the H700 doesn't enter your ear at all (the boom mic rests against your ear. No quality is sacrificed in the process). FEATURES The volume controls are programmable, but it takes a few seconds to figure out which button raises or lowers the volume. There's no USB charger included, but the AC adapter is USB mini-B type, so any standard USB A-to-mini-B charger is compatible with the H700. PERFORMANCE Audio quality was second only to the pricier Jabra JX10. The H700 has built-in noise reduction, which helps in crowds and restaurants.
