The matte-silver V270 beats all the mice in this roundup, thanks to its button options, simple design, and ease of use. It communicates with your laptop via Bluetooth and runs on two AA batteries. The V270 is the heaviest mouse we tested, but it's not uncomfortable to use. You can customize the left and right click buttons to work with your dominant hand, and the scroll wheel can be reassigned using the included SetPoint software when installing on a PC (Macs don't support SetPoint software). An on/off switch on the mouse's underside prolongs the battery life, which is rated for three months. An included nylon case stores your mouse when it's not in use.
