Designed to let iPod owners output their photos and videos to a TV (complete with background music), Kensington’s Entertainment Dock 500 for iPod offers ease of use and a solid design. The remote uses Radio Frequency (RF) technology, giving you control from up to 50 feet away. We noticed some pixilation on HDTVs, even with the S-Video connection, but nothing that made video unwatchable. Playback on standard sets was much better. Overall, the Entertainment Dock 500 for iPod performs as well as it looks. We only wish that it we could output the iPod’s menu.
