Citrix GoToMeeting

GoToMeeting, which was acquired by Citrix Systems in December 2003, offers a smorgasbord of features for a simple "all you can meet" price of $49 per month. This pricing structure enables you to have as many meetings as you want, with up to ten attendees. Both attendees and presenters have to download a program, which can even be done within the limited User mode in Windows XP. GoToMeeting benefits from a well-designed control panel. A set of small pop-up windows guides novice presenters through the process of inviting attendees and sharing screens. Other welcome features include the ability to hide taskbars and desktop icons and to record a presentation, either in GoToMeeting format or a Windows Media Player format. GoToMeeting even goes through the trouble of installing a button in Outlook to make inviting participants simple.
