The Canon SD400 has shrunk to resemble the Digital Elph from years ago. The design is clean enough, but now seems to lack sparkle compared to its sexier competitors. The two-inch LCD is a bit small, but there is always the trusty optical viewfinder to fall back on. This 5-MP camera makes up for its staid design with great-looking photos and simple controls. Video looks great as well, with the ability to shoot at 60 fps for one-minute bursts or 30 fps for as long as your memory card holds out.
