The localized mobile-search services keep on coming. Today, voice-based mobile-search technology provider V-ENABLE unveiled the beta version of its Directory Assistance Mobile411. Claimed to be the fastest and most accurate voice search solution available for your mobile phone, Mobile411 will be the first multimodal (voice- and text-based) directory-assistance service.
 
Using voice and text, users can search local directory listings for places of interest, maps, weather, and more from mobile phones.The listings integrate content from Yahoo, MapQuest, Superpages, and others, and consumers can access Mobile411 from anywhere to receive relevant information in a visual format on their phones. They can also choose to connect to a live operator for person-to-person assistance.
 
Mobile411 provides a voice-enabled directory-assistance solution for smart phones. The service can be integrated with a variety of platforms--including BREW, Java, Symbian, and Windows Mobile--offering carriers an adaptable application.
