This is the kind of product that makes you ask, "Why didn't I think of that?" We have external hard drives, optical drives, USB hubs, and myriad other external devices, so why not an external graphics card station? After all, gamers do occasionally leave the house and want to take their notebooks with them. The Asus XG Station enables your notebook to be small and light enough to take with you, but then provides you with the opportunity to transform it into a serious gaming machine with an external monitor. It comes with an Asus EN7900 graphics card and accommodates HDCP and HDMI. Just connect it to your notebook via the ExpressCard, and you're good to go. The XG Station also features Dolby Headphone technology with 5.1 surround sound for gaming, music, and movies. You can even control the clock speed on the unit with a big dial on the front; this lets you lower the hum of the machine when watching movies.
