Reqwireless BlackBerry Value Bundle
This package features WebViewer 3.5 and EmailViewer 3.0, and works with 16 BlackBerry models. WebViewer delivers a PC-like browser experience, including support for GIF, JPEG, PNG, TIFF, and BMP image formats, and it eliminates the need for horizontal scrolling for Web pages that aren’t formatted for the small screen. EmailViewer enables HTML-based e-mail, spam filtering, and the option to scale images between full size and what looks best on-screen.

J2X Technologies ExpenseLog Pro
Considering the BlackBerry’s cult following among business users, an app for tracking expenses is a no-brainer. ExpenseLog Pro has a straightforward format for entering expenses by category, and it syncs with your personalized section of the MobilePro Web site.

From there, you can review them on any PC, as well as print the tally. One catch: It doesn’t download to employer-issued expense reports, so you’ll have to input the data manually.

Splendo MiMessenger
Although the BlackBerry 7100t has built-in IM support for three separate clients, older models don’t. MiMessenger fills that gap for other 7-series BlackBerries—if they’re running on a Blackberry Enterprise Server. One handy feature is the ability to import MSN Messenger contact lists. The $20 price tag covers the MiMessenger application and a 1-year service subscription.

Virtual Views ImageWallet—Personal Edition
The BlackBerry is aimed at business users, so they don’t include cameras. But it’s nice to be able to scroll through shots of loved ones during yet another meeting or trip. ImageWallet lets you store up to six photos on your color BlackBerry. (It works on monochrome versions, too, but Virtual Views doesn’t recommend it.) You upload the images from any PC to the Image-Wallet Web site, which automatically formats them for the small screen before downloading to the device.

Concrete Software Aces Texas Hold'em—No Limit
Concrete Software’s decision to offer a BlackBerry version of Aces Texas Hold'em proves that even e-mail-holics want to be able to unwind. Features include the ability to play against up to 22 opponents, four game speeds, and multiple betting options. You can also adjust your card size, a handy touch if you don’t like squinting at the screen.
